Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Stream Repeater. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

Your account

You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials and stream keys secure. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

Acceptable use

  • Only stream content you have the right to broadcast.
  • No unlawful, infringing, or abusive content.
  • No content or conduct involving terrorism, child sexual exploitation or abuse, grooming, hate, harassment, threats, intimate image abuse, suicide or self-harm encouragement, fraud, illegal weapons, illegal drugs, or other illegal harms.
  • Don't attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the service or other tenants.
  • Respect the terms of any third-party destinations you relay to.
  • If you record a stream or publish a public watch page, you're responsible for obtaining any consents and rights needed to record, store and make that content available.
  • If you collect viewer details through lead capture, you are the data controller for those details. You warrant that you have a lawful basis to collect and use them, that you tell viewers who you are and how you'll use their data, and that you handle and respond to their data-protection requests. We process those details only on your behalf as set out in our Privacy Policy.
  • If you use Integrations, you may only connect accounts, devices and endpoints you own or are authorised to use, and you must comply with the terms of each connected platform or service. You are responsible for the automation rules you create and the actions they take, including any messages they post and any commands they send to your devices.

Safety reports and complaints

You can report illegal content, abusive comments, privacy concerns, or concerns about how we apply our safety processes using the safety reporting form. Where a report relates to a specific comment, use the report link shown beside that comment when available.

We review reports under these terms and our safety duties. Possible outcomes include no action, hiding content, restricting access, escalation, suspension, or termination. We aim to prioritise urgent reports within 24 hours and normally review other reports within 7 days.

Plans & billing

Paid plans renew until cancelled, monthly or annually as you choose. Your plan sets your limits — channels, destinations per channel, monthly outbound bandwidth, and whether features such as recording, public watch pages and interactive automations are available (automations are included on higher-tier plans). Inbound and relay traffic isn't metered; only outbound (egress) bandwidth counts toward your allowance. Depending on your plan, exceeding the bandwidth allowance may pause streaming until the next period or, on soft-capped plans, continue with alerts only. Recordings are retained for your plan's window and then deleted automatically. You can change or cancel your plan at any time; access continues through the current billing period. Cancelling keeps your access until the end of the current paid period, and we don't refund unused time. Where you are a consumer with a statutory 14-day cooling-off right on a new purchase, you can request a refund within that window via support. Plan features, limits and pricing may change at any time — we may add, alter or remove what's included on any plan; we'll give reasonable notice of material changes affecting a paid plan you're on, and continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept it.

Inactive accounts

To keep the service tidy and our data minimal, free workspaces that go inactive — no sign-ins and no live streams — are wound down in stages. After a couple of weeks we may send you a few reminder emails. After about 90 days of inactivity a free workspace is archived (paused and hidden, but not deleted); simply signing in restores it instantly, exactly as you left it. If it stays inactive, the workspace and its associated data are permanently deleted after about 120 days of inactivity — we email you before this happens. Paid workspaces are not archived or deleted for inactivity. These windows may change; the current values are set out in our product configuration. You can export or delete your data at any time via our Privacy Policy.

Integrations, automations & the Local Agent

Integrations let you connect third-party platforms and devices and run rules that react to live events. They depend on services and hardware outside our control and are provided on a best-effort basis: we don't guarantee that any event will be received, that any rule will fire, or that any connected service or device will act on it. Connected platforms may change, rate-limit, or withdraw their APIs at any time.

Some sources have no official API. In particular, TikTok events are gathered by our optional Local Agent, which runs on your own computer using community tooling; this is inherently fragile, may stop working without notice, and must be used in accordance with the relevant platform's terms. You install and run the Local Agent at your own risk and are responsible for the machine it runs on and the accounts and devices you connect through it.

You are solely responsible for the actions your automations take. We are not liable for the availability, behaviour, or consequences of any third-party service or device you connect, or for any action (or failure to act) triggered by a rule.

Audience engagement tools

Features such as giveaways, polls, chat commands and scheduled chat messages are tools for you to run on your own channels and audience. You are solely responsible for how you use them and for complying with all applicable laws and platform rules — including any laws on promotions, prize draws, sweepstakes, contests, lotteries or gambling that apply where your audience is located. Stream Repeater is not the promoter of, and accepts no responsibility for, any giveaway, contest or poll you run; you are responsible for any prize you offer and for honouring it. We provide chat moderation tools (such as removing a message or removing a participant) as a convenience — you remain responsible for moderating your own community, and removing a message from our feed and overlay does not guarantee its removal on the source platform.

Enforcement, strikes, suspension & termination

You may close your account at any time. Where we reasonably believe your account has breached these terms or our Acceptable Use above — for example following a safety report or our own review — we may take action proportionate to the breach, including a warning, removing or restricting content, suspending your account, or permanently closing (banning) it.

Strikes. We may record breaches as strikes against your account. Repeated or escalating breaches can lead to suspension or a permanent ban.

Suspension. While an account is suspended, active streams are stopped and you cannot start new broadcasts, API access is disabled, and billing is paused so you are not charged for the suspended period. You can still sign in to read the notice and appeal. We will email you the reason.

Permanent ban. For serious or repeated breaches we may permanently close your account. When we do, all streaming, integrations and API access stop, you can no longer sign in, and your paid subscription is cancelled with no further charges. Fees already paid are non-refundable where the closure results from a breach of these terms. We will email you the reason.

Appeals. If you believe a suspension or ban was made in error, reply to the notification email or contact support and we will review your account. You can request a copy of your personal data or its deletion at any time, in line with our Privacy Policy, whatever your account status.

We may also suspend or restrict the service where required by law, to protect the safety of users or the public, or to protect the integrity or security of the service.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", with all faults and without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stream Repeater disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory or otherwise, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free; that any stream, relay, or destination will connect, stay connected, or be delivered without interruption, loss, delay, or degradation; or that any data, configuration, or recording will be preserved; or that any integration, automation rule, or connected device will trigger, deliver, or behave as expected. Streaming and integrations depend on third-party platforms, networks, hosting providers, connected services and devices, and your own equipment and connectivity, all of which are outside our control.

Limitation of liability & assumption of risk

You use the service entirely at your own risk and are solely responsible for arranging your own backups, redundancy, and contingency for any broadcast that matters to you.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stream Repeater, its owners, operators, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any loss or damage of any kind arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the service, including but not limited to:

  • any failed, dropped, interrupted, missed, or degraded stream or relay;
  • any outage, downtime, maintenance, latency, or data, content, or configuration loss;
  • any lost revenue, profits, sales, sponsorships, viewers, subscribers, goodwill, or business opportunity;
  • any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages;
  • any act, omission, suspension, policy, or outage of a third-party platform or destination you stream to;
  • any integration or automation that fails to fire, fires unexpectedly, or whose connected service or device does not act as intended, and anything the Local Agent does or fails to do on your machine.

This applies regardless of the legal theory (contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise) and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our total aggregate liability for all claims is limited to the amount you actually paid us for the service in the one (1) month immediately before the event giving rise to the claim, or, where no payment was made, nil.

You agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Stream Repeater and its operators from any claim, demand, loss, or liability arising from your streams, your content, or your use of the service. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations; in those cases the above apply to the maximum extent permitted, and nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Trademarks & third-party brands

"Stream Repeater" and the Stream Repeater logo are trademarks of the operator of this service. All other product, service, platform and device names and their logos shown anywhere on this site or in the app — including but not limited to YouTube, Twitch, Kick, TikTok and Facebook — are the trademarks and property of their respective owners. In particular, YouTube is a trademark of Google LLC.

We display those names and logos solely to identify the third-party platforms and services that Stream Repeater can connect to, restream to, or interoperate with, for your convenience. Their use does not imply any affiliation with, or sponsorship, endorsement or approval by, their owners. Stream Repeater is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or otherwise associated with YouTube, Google LLC, Twitch, Kick, TikTok, Facebook, or any other platform shown. All rights in those marks remain with their respective owners, and each such mark is used in accordance with the relevant owner's brand guidelines where applicable.
