Sending an AI stream to several channels
An AI stream can publish into as many of your channels as your plan allows. On the stream's form, tick each channel it should go to. Every channel receives the same picture and relays it to its own destinations as usual.
When a channel can't take it
When the stream starts, each ticked channel is checked:
- Switched off — it is skipped.
- Someone is live on it — a person always wins the channel. The AI stream publishes to the others, and only pauses (yields) if every channel is busy.
- Another AI stream is using it — two switched-on AI streams can't share a channel. Start is refused and names the other stream; stop that one first, or untick the channel. (Two streams can share a channel as long as only one is switched on, e.g. a day stream and a night stream.)
While it runs
The stream page lists each channel and whether it is receiving the feed, connecting, not receiving, someone else is live, or waiting to rejoin. If a channel stops taking the feed, or a channel that was busy frees up, you are notified and the stream reconnects to bring it back — at most once an hour per channel, because reconnecting briefly interrupts the other channels too.
One AI stream per channel
Each channel can carry only one switched-on AI stream at a time. The watchdog enforces this even if something slips past, keeping the stream that is already on air.
