Troubleshooting an AI Stream that will not start
If Start does not put an AI Stream on air, check the following in order.
1. Check the provider key
Open AI Streams → Provider keys. The key must be Working. Replace a refused key, add credit if it shows Key works · no credits, or use Check again if it has not been checked yet.
2. Check the stream settings
The stream needs a description, a supported provider, a valid shape and clip length, and at least one enabled channel. The channel must also be enabled and available to broadcast on the current plan.
3. Check channel ownership
An AI Stream cannot take over a channel that already has somebody live on it. It also cannot share a channel with another switched-on AI Stream. Stop the other AI Stream or untick that channel, then try again.
4. Check the status on the stream page
The status list explains whether each channel is receiving, connecting, waiting, or blocked by another live source. A stream can be running while one selected channel is waiting for a channel to become available.
If the key is working, the settings are valid and the stream remains stuck, copy the status message and contact support. Include the stream name, provider and approximate start time — never include the API key itself.
