Pairing and using the mobile control app

The Stream Repeater mobile app is a remote control for your workspace, not a replacement for your video encoder. It can show channel status, destinations, chat, alerts and selected live actions while your stream continues on the server.

Pair a phone

Open Settings → Devices on the web dashboard, choose Pair mobile device, and scan or enter the short code in the app. Approve the device name and keep the app updated. Pairing tokens are one-time credentials; never post them in chat or screenshots.

Use the app for quick checks and actions such as starting a destination, marking a highlight or reading chat. For a full scene composition, use OBS, Browser Studio or your mobile encoder app. If the phone is lost, revoke it from Devices and pair a replacement.

Push notifications depend on the phone's permissions and network. The dashboard remains the source of truth if a notification arrives late.
