Streaming from iPhone and Android

You can stream from a phone using a compatible RTMP app and the ingest details for a Stream Repeater channel. This is useful for outdoor broadcasts, quick announcements and mobile gaming.

Phone setup

1. Create or open the channel you want to use.
2. Copy its ingest URL and stream key into the mobile app.
3. Grant camera and microphone permission only to the app you trust.
4. Start with a moderate resolution and bitrate on Wi-Fi or strong 5G.
5. Check the Stream Repeater preview before enabling every destination.

Keep the phone powered, disable aggressive battery optimisation for the encoder app and avoid switching networks while live. If the feed disconnects, check upload stability before increasing quality. Rotate the channel key if it was copied into a public chat or screenshot. Stream Repeater handles the relay; phone camera, orientation and local audio controls remain in the mobile app.
