Using the Local Agent and game events
The Local Agent connects the computer running your game or production tools to Stream Repeater. It can publish supported game events, receive connector actions and bridge local tools without exposing your machine directly to the public internet.
Setup
- Download the agent from Downloads and install it on the gaming or production computer.
- Pair it from Integrations → Devices.
- Enable only the event sources you need.
- Confirm a test event appears under the workspace event log.
For CS2, Dota 2 and League of Legends, use the game-specific setup described in the game events guide. Fortnite, Warzone and other games without a supported local feed can still publish custom events from Streamer.bot, a script or Stream Deck.
The agent should run on the same computer as the game for loopback game data. Revoke a device when it is retired, and never paste its pairing token into a public script.
