Choosing an ingest setup

Stream Repeater accepts one inbound feed and relays it to your destinations. Choose the source that best fits what you are doing.

OBS, vMix or a hardware encoder

Use the channel's ingest URL and stream key when you want scenes, sources, custom audio mixing or hardware capture. This is the most flexible option for gaming and production workflows.

Browser Studio

Use Browser Studio for a quick camera, screen or camera-plus-screen broadcast without installing an encoder. Keep the browser tab open while you are live and grant camera and microphone permissions when prompted.

Phone or another RTMP app

Use the same channel credentials in a mobile streaming app. A strong Wi-Fi or 5G connection is recommended, especially for higher bitrates. If the app offers a choice, use a stable keyframe interval and a bitrate your upload can sustain.

Whichever source you choose, start with one destination and verify the preview before adding more. Stream Repeater copies the inbound feed, so changing the number of destinations does not require another upload from your encoder.
