Protecting recorded VOD and playback links

Treat VOD links as access to your recorded broadcast. Share them only with people who should see the content, and remove recordings you no longer need.

Before sharing a recording

• Check the workspace and channel are the intended ones.
• Remove private information, keys or personal data from the recording where possible.
• Use the admin or workspace playback controls rather than copying dashboard URLs into public overlays.
• Revoke or rotate any credential that appeared on screen.

Playback requests are authorised by the application and protected with short-lived access tokens. A token is not a substitute for carefully choosing who receives the link. If a recording is no longer needed, delete it from the Video Library and confirm the correct item before removing it.
