Understanding live viewer analytics

Live analytics help you answer three different questions: is the channel receiving media, are destinations relaying it, and are viewers actually watching?

The channel view shows ingest and relay health. The live metrics panel shows current viewers and playback activity where the destination exposes it. Workspace analytics combine traffic, destinations, audience and operational events over a selected time range.

Use the same time zone and window when comparing broadcasts. A viewer count can lag or differ between Stream Repeater and a platform because platforms sample and filter viewers differently. Treat a sudden drop across every destination as an ingest or network investigation; treat a drop on one platform as a destination investigation.

Export the incident timeline after a problem. It gives support the sequence of source, relay and destination changes without sharing credentials.
